Upcoming Training and Awareness Raising Session for Aspiring Co-operators

The Co-operative Alternatives programme of support for existing and emerging co-operatives in Northern Ireland includes a series of virtual/in-person training sessions on co-operative skills for co-operatives.

These sessions and events aim to provide valuable knowledge, skills, and networking opportunities to support existing and emerging co-operatives. This is part of the Belfast City Council Support Programme for SE and Co-operatives.

1 Introduction to Co-ops: This session provides an overview of what you need to know if you want to set up a co-op. 26th October 2023, 12.00 noon to 2.00pm.

2 Governance: Sociocracy for Co-operatives: This session focuses on the governance structure of co-operatives and how Sociocracy can be applied. This session is facilitated by Joanna McMinn. 7th November 2023, 12.00 noon to 2.00pm.
