Co-operative Growth Strategy for the UK

We are delighted to announce that Co-operatives UK has unveiled its Co-operative Growth Strategy, detailing how a partnership between the sector and UK government, can double the size of the UK’s co-operative economy. This strategy is food for thoughts for NI, too. 

The Co-operative Growth Strategy identifies eight key areas with high potential for co-operative expansion and impact, from community ownership to digital co-operation and social care. It also highlights the critical enablers – such as finance, business support, and education – needed to unlock growth. In doing so, the UK movement address major societal challenges, like inclusive growth and net zero.
