Co-op Alternatives recently facilitated a planning session with the board of the newly formed Belfast Students’ Housing Co-op. The group identified a need to address the increasing accommodation crisis for students in Belfast and are now making significant headway.

Meeting in the new Ulster University Belfast Campus, Scott Jennings from Student Co-op Homes, which represents students co-operatives in England, Scotland and Wales, attended the meeting bringing useful and insightful advice to the new co-op.

Belfast Students Housing Co-operative is supported by the Belfast City Council support programme for co-operatives delivered by Co-op Alternatives.
