NICE calls for community energy projects to partake in COP26 event in Belfast
NICE invites co-operators and supporters of community energy to take part in the rally organized by The Climate Coalition of Northern Ireland (CCNI).
The CCNI is hosting a rally in Belfast city centre to mark the landmark COP26 climate conference in Glasgow, and demand net-zero climate legislation for NI. This is a Global Day of Action. Across the world communities will mobilise against climate breakdown – we need YOU to raise your voice and make your mark.
The rally will begin at Corn Market at 12 pm, and make its way to Belfast City Hall for speeches at 1pm. It will conclude at 2pm. Make signs, bring friends, family and co-workers, and let’s make this the biggest climate rally Northern Ireland has ever seen.
*Social distancing and mask-wearing is encouraged in line with public health guidelines
