Co op Fortnight 2026: Co operate and we can change the world

Co-op Alternatives join the Co-operative Fortnight 2026 campaign announced by Co-ops UK to celebrate all co-operatives and, in particular, all the co-ops in North and South of Ireland.

We are delighted to share The Beautiful Idea, a powerful, uplifting video featuring Tony Walsh performing his inspiring poem about co‑operatives. It is a celebration of what we hold in common and a reminder of the incredible things we can achieve when we work together. This is co‑operation at its most human and hopeful, and we’re thrilled to pass it on.
